Malmaison Website
Malmaison is one of the UK’s leading boutique hotel chains. Every hotel has its own individual character, whilst all maintain excellence in design and service. A stay at a Malmaison hotel is designed to be smooth and stylish. Their digital presence needed to reflect the core brand values of offering the user a seamless, high quality experience.
We gave the website a complete overhaul. Going back to basics, we started from scratch with robust information planning to ensure an accessible and usable site. We followed this up with iterations of content and site mapping until we were 100% happy with the overall architecture. The site structure is hooked around a transactional booking hub to encourage room and brassiere bookings. Linking out from the central hub are individual satellite sites for each of the hotels.
We applied an engaging creative execution utilising bold colour schemes, location based quotes and backgrounds, mixed with modern sharp photography. This gives an overall feel of stylish fun – just like staying at the Mal. The hotel sites were given a distinct individual feel, showing off the best characteristics of each. By maintaining strong creative themes throughout, we ensured that the online user experience matches the great Malmaison quality and style.
